booty call.

I took advantage of this rainy day and headed out to the movies to see the romantic comedy "No Strings Attached." I heard mixed reviews about this movie, but I must say I really enjoyed it. This movie completely swapped sex stereotypes, which I thought was brilliant. Everyone has their own opinion on this, but I do believe that girls can think like guys and be just as emotionally unattached. Part of this stems from my own personal experiences. For so many years I tried, I cared, I cried and it got me nowhere. I think I exhausted my emotions and now, well, I just don't give a damn. Where will that get me? I really don't know, but for now I really don't care. As Kate Hudson's character in Almost Famous said "...never take it seriously. If ya never take it seriously, you never get hurt. If ya never get hurt, you always have fun. And if ya ever get lonely, just go to the record store and visit your friends." I couldn't have said it better myself.

However, I think true love can be found in this somewhat dysfunctional and careless type of relationship. This has not been my experience, but I would not be against working in this sort of backwards way of "modern day love."

Times have definitely changed! So, the ultimate question... Can friends with benefits keep it simple OR is there always one person in the relationship that wants more?

Your are definitely a Carrie!!! lol And to answer your question I think FWB is like playing with fire.... Fun at first, then someone gets hurt :( and no one should feel any regret because the rules have been laid on the table (or at least they should be). Just have fun and live life to the fullest, learning along the way!!! Haven't seen the movie yet but it sounds JUICY!!! XOXO K
